Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi is reportedly close to completing a move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
The 31-year-old, named in the PFA Team of the Year last season, is believed to have set his sights on the Etihad Stadium exit after losing his place in the heart of defence.
Pep Guardiola has handed Otamendi 2,474 minutes of playing time this season - his lowest since arriving in Manchester.
Wolverhampton Wanderers and former club Valencia have both been credited with an interest but, according to Spanish outlet AS, Atletico are the favourites to land the Argentina international.
Otamendi's agent Jorge Mendes is said to be in contact with Atleti's sporting director Andrea Berta over a return to La Liga, four years after leaving the division to join City.
