Sampdoria are reportedly lining up a move for Estudiantes midfielder Joaquin Correa.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Manchester City had held talks over a deal for the 20-year-old.
However, Sky Sport Italia have now claimed that a fee of €6.5m [£5.15m] has been reached between Sampdoria and Estudiantes for his transfer.
The Blucerchiati are thought to be in the market for a new midfielder, with Manolo Gabbiadini's future at the club uncertain.
