Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido has confirmed that the club has not received an offer from Manchester City for striker Alvaro Negredo.
It was reported over the weekend that the former Premier League champions are preparing a £20m offer for the 27-year-old Spaniard.
"There hasn't been any change with respect to Negredo's situation," Del Nido told reporters.
"There hasn't been any communication between the English club and Spanish club, and Negredo is training with his teammates and has three more years on his contract. There hasn't been any offer from Manchester City."
Negredo scored 25 league goals for Sevilla last season.
