Swansea City are said to be preparing a bid to bring striker Wilfried Bony back to the Liberty Stadium this summer.
The 27-year-old left the Welsh side for Manchester City in a £25m deal in January 2015 but has failed to find form in the North-East, scoring just six times in 36 league appearances.
According to the Sunday Express, Swans coach Francesco Guidolin is keen to add firepower to his ranks as rumours persist over the future of Andre Ayew.
Everton are thought to be in pole position to secure Bony's signature and are discussing a player-plus-cash deal that would see City offer £50m plus Bony in exchange for the services of in-demand defender John Stones.
Swansea are hopeful of a less complicated, outright deal for Bony, however, either for a £15m permanent transfer or on a season-long loan.
