Yaya Toure would reportedly have no issue playing under Pep Guardiola's management at Manchester City next season.
Incoming City boss Guardiola deemed the Ivorian surplus to requirements when in charge of Barcelona in 2010, which paved the way for a £24m move to the Etihad Stadium.
That had resulted in suggestions that Toure, who has less than 18 months left to run on his City contract, would be on the move in the summer.
However, The Guardian has claimed that the 32-year-old is hopeful he can continue his career alongside Guardiola in East Manchester.
The report adds that should City look to sell him, Toure is eager to remain in the Premier League.
