Manchester City have reportedly expressed an interest in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves in the New Year.
The 21-year-old has seen his stock rise steadily since joining Wolves from Porto in the summer of 2017.
Neves scored six goals and bagged one assist for the club last season as they romped to the Championship title.
According to The Sun, City boss Pep Guardiola is interested in a holding midfielder and, although the Portuguese is primarily an attacker, he has shown that he can also play further back.
In addition, Neves is represented by Jorge Mendes, who already has a number of players at City such as Bernardo Silva and Ederson.
The report states that the Citizens are preparing a £60m bid for Neves, who is under contract at Molineux until 2023.
