Angers teenager Rayan Ait-Nouri has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester City.
While both clubs are expected to spend a significant amount of money during the summer transfer window, focus is also being placed on strengthening their respective academy setups and it appears that it could lead to offers for Ait-Nouri.
According to L'Equipe, the two Premier League clubs will make an official approach for the left-back, who is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes.
The 16-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Ligue 1 outfit but terms have already been agreed over a contract until 2021.
However, such is Wolves' and Man City's financial clout that a lucrative bid could be successful, with the player potentially being loaned back to Angers at a later date.
Monaco and Atletico Madrid are also said to be in the running for the youngster.
