Outgoing Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure is keen to join another Premier League club when he leaves the Etihad Stadium at the end of the season.
The player's agent Dimitri Seluk has revealed that the Ivory Coast international is seeking a one-year deal with a top-flight team, and is willing to repay half of his wages if his new employers are dissatisfied with his performances.
"Yaya is fit and desperate to prove he's still the best central midfielder in the Premier League," Sky Sports News quotes Seluk as saying.
"Ivory Coast will not be in Russia for the World Cup and next season he will be fit, rested and stronger than ever.
"He's happy to accept a one-year deal to stay in England. And if his club are not satisfied with his performances, he will pay back half his wages – or the club can cancel his contract immediately, with no compensation."
Word that Toure is seeking a new club in England could put Everton on high alert, following reports that the Blues are considering approaching him.
