Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's EFL Cup fixtures, including Brighton & Hove Albion vs. Manchester United.

Newport vs. Newcastle (Wednesday, 5.30pm)

Newport County will be looking to pull off another EFL Cup giant killing when they play host to Newcastle United for Wednesday's fourth-round clash.

Newport have knocked out Swansea City, Cambridge United and Watford to reach round four, while Newcastle have overcome Blackburn Rovers and Morecambe en route to the last 16.

We say: Newport County 1-3 Newcastle United

Newport have already gone further than they ever have before in this competition and have every right to dream of making the quarter finals. While Flynn's side deserve a huge amount of credit for overcoming two Championship sides en route to round four, Newcastle showed no mercy to Morecambe and will simply have too much quality for the League Two outfit, so we expect the Newport journey to end here.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Burnley vs. Man City (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Manchester City continue the defence of their EFL Cup crown when they visit Burnley at Turf Moor in the fourth round on Wednesday night.

The holders will demand a swift response to their chastening 5-2 home defeat at the hands of Leicester City at the weekend, while Burnley are also looking to bounce back from a home league loss.

We say: Burnley 0-2 Manchester City

There is usually a backlash when Man City are humbled as they were on Sunday, and Guardiola will be demanding a response from his side here regardless of how many changes he makes.Burnley will not roll over and will have taken note of how Leicester achieved such success against Wednesday's visitors, but it is a depleted squad already and the Premier League will be their firm priority this season.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Brighton vs. Man Utd (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Four days after playing out an instant Premier League classic, Brighton & Hove Albion and Manchester United renew acquaintances in an EFL Cup fourth round tie at the Amex Stadium on Wednesday night.

The first episode of the quickfire double-header between these two sides has done a good job to whet the appetite for the sequel as Manchester United ran out 3-2 winners in incredible circumstances.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 1-2 Manchester United

If any Manchester United player had underestimated Brighton prior to Saturday's match, they will not make the same mistake on Wednesday. The two lineups are likely to be vastly different to the ones from that Premier League bonanza, though, and that means that strength in depth may well be the decider factor - something which plays into the hands of the visitors.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Everton vs. West Ham (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Everton and West Ham United will both be looking to build on weekend victories in the Premier League when the two sides lock horns in Wednesday's EFL Cup fourth-round clash.

The Toffees overcame Salford City and Fleetwood Town to advance to the last 16, whereas West Ham knocked out Charlton Athletic and Hull City to set up a showdown with the Toffees.

We say: Everton 3-1 West Ham United

West Ham supporters will be hoping that their impressive victory over Wolves will be the one that turns the corner, but the Hammers are now facing a challenging cup fixture against one of the most in-form sides in the Premier League. Changes are expected in both camps but we cannot see Everton's strong run of form ending anytime soon, so we expect Ancelotti's men to prevail and book their spot in the quarter-finals.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.
