Scotland captain Darren Fletcher has said that he is feeling 'as fit as ever' ahead of his side's Euro 2012 qualifier against the Czech Republic on Saturday.
The Manchester United midfielder missed the second part of last season with a virus, and has played only two competitive games since March, but he says that he is ready for action.
"I feel as fit as I ever have, I feel strong. I have 53 caps so I know what to expect at this level," he said.
"I'm the captain - I feel I bring a lot to the team in terms of communication.
"Players have had one or two more matches than me but I don't believe that's a problem."
Craig Levein's side currently sit fourth in Group I, 11 points behind leaders Spain.
