Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has returned to training for England today while Liverpool full-back Glen Johnson was forced to retire from the session with an infected toe.
The duo missed out on Roy Hodgson's first session with the Three Lions squad yesterday as a precautionary measure.
While Welbeck was fit enough to take part at the Etihad Stadium this morning, Johnson left the pitch with a member of the backroom staff after completing the warm-up.
Meanwhile, Scott Parker was also included in training following initial fears that the Tottenham Hotspur midfielder was struggling with an Achilles injury.
