Man United injury, suspension news vs. PAOK: Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire updates

:Headline: Man United injury, suspension news vs. PAOK: Kobbie Mainoo, Harry Maguire updates:
Sports Mole rounds up Manchester United's injury and suspension news ahead of their Europa League clash with Greek champions PAOK.
Sports Mole

Manchester United will be seeking a first win on the continent in over a year when they welcome PAOK to Old Trafford in the Europa League on Thursday night.

This will be Ruud van Nistelrooy's first and final European game in interim charge of the Red Devils, as Ruben Amorim will arrive to take over after November's international break.

The Man United caretaker has seen results steadily go in the right direction, beating Leicester City to reach the EFL Cup quarter-finals, before drawing 1-1 with Chelsea on Sunday.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Man United's injury and suspension news ahead of their contest with PAOK, who are the reigning Greek champions, and sit second in the Super League after 10 games, but are winless in this competition.

Leny Yoro

Status: Out
Type of injury: Foot
Possible return date: November 24 (vs. Ipswich Town)

Yoro will remain sidelined for at least another few weeks, as the summer signing continues his recovery from the fractured metatarsal he suffered in the pre-season friendly with Arsenal back in July.

Tyrell Malacia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Malacia's injury worries have often been shrouded in mystery, but after missing the entirety of last season, the Dutchman is closing in on a comeback after recently returning to training.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw has been missing since featuring in the Euro 2024 final for England, and just as it seemed as though he was closing in on a return, the left-back suffered yet another setback in his recovery recently.

Kobbie Mainoo

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Leicester)

While a return for Mainoo in this one seems unlikely, Van Nistelrooy could hold him back until after the international break to optimise his recovery time from a muscular problem, but he is in contention to face Leicester at the weekend.

Mason Mount

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: November 7 (vs. PAOK)

Mount has been missing since he was forced off after a nasty head collision in the defeat at home to Tottenham Hotspur at the end of September, and the reasons for his continued absence have been unclear, but the ex-Chelsea man returned to training on Monday ahead of this clash.

Antony

Status: Out
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: Unknown

After being stretchered off the field in the Europa League clash away to Fenerbahce two weeks ago, Antony has missed the last three against West Ham United, Leicester and Chelsea, with the Brazilian expected to remain on the sidelines.

Harry Maguire

Status: Out
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: November 10 (vs. Leicester)

Maguire is currently out with a muscular problem meaning that a call up to the England squad in November appears unlikely, even if he is able to return at the weekend against his former club Leicester, but the defender is a major doubt for that one.

MANCHESTER UNITED'S SUSPENSION LIST

Man United have no players suspended for this Europa League clash.
