Sports Mole rounds up Liverpool's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester United.

Liverpool will look to continue their relentless march to the Premier League title when they host Manchester United at Anfield next Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp's side are 14 points clear of second place with a game in hand following a 1-0 victory away at Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

However, Liverpool will be conscious of Sunday's opponents, who remain the only team to take points off the Reds in the 2019-20 season.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the club's latest injury and suspension news ahead of this fixture.

Dejan Lovren

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: January 23 (vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers)

Klopp has confirmed that Sunday's match will come too soon for Dejan Lovren, although the Croatia international is expected back in full training early next week and could be in contention for the Wolves game.

Joel Matip

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: January 19 (vs. Manchester United)

The reverse fixture against United is the only match Matip has played since September, but Klopp confirmed in his pre-match press conference that the Cameroonian should be ready to play some part on Sunday.

Fabinho

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Ankle
Possible return date: January 19 (vs. Manchester United)

Fabinho is also in line to make his return to the squad for this match, with the Brazilian having been sidelined by an ankle problem since the end of November.

Naby Keita

Status: Out
Type of injury: Groin
Possible return date: Unknown

The midfielder has a poor injury record since joining Liverpool, especially with his groin, and it remains unclear as to when he will return from this latest affliction.

Nathaniel Clyne

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The full-back is Liverpool's only long-term absentee, having suffered severe knee ligament damage in pre-season, with no timeframe available regarding when he could return.

James Milner

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Klopp confirmed after Liverpool's win over Everton in the FA Cup that Milner had suffered a "serious" muscle injury. There is no indication on when the player will return.

LIVERPOOL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Liverpool have no players suspended for this fixture.
