Manchester United could be without David de Gea immediately after the international break after the goalkeeper dislocated his finger while training with Spain.
The 24-year-old injured a digit on his right hand during a session on Friday and will be unavailable for Spain's Euro 2016 qualifier against Belarus on Saturday.
He will be monitored by Spain's medical staff throughout the coming days, but is also likely to miss the friendly against world champions Germany next week.
United's official Twitter account posted: "The Spain national team report David De Gea has dislocated a finger on his right hand. He remains with the squad where he will be assessed."
De Gea has played every minute of United's Premier League season and has earned rave reviews for improved displays which are believed to have attracted the attention of La Liga giants Real Madrid.
