Danny Blind has revealed that his son Daley is "on schedule" in his recovery from a knee injury.
The Manchester United player suffered the complaint while on international duty with the Netherlands last month.
Manager Louis van Gaal recently refused to put a timescale on the 24-year-old's return to action, but Blind Sr has divulged that the midfielder's rehabilitation is now underway.
"On Tuesday he had a scan. Everything looked fine on the scan. Daley can really begin rehabilitation now, but [he] is still on schedule," he told Metro Nieuws, according to Sports Witness.
Blind, who joined the Red Devils from Ajax in August, has made eight Premier League appearances this term.
