Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has reportedly told manager Louis van Gaal that he is fit to play against West Bromwich Albion on Monday evening.
The Spaniard was expected to be out for another week after fracturing his rib during United's 2-1 victory over West Ham United on September 27.
According to The Telegraph, Herrera has been taking part in training this week with the help of painkillers, and while he is comfortable with playing at The Hawthorns, the midfielder will leave it to the medical staff to make the final call.
Phil Jones and Ashley Young are expected to be included in the squad.
