Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has ruled Luke Shaw out of Thursday's Europa League Group A match with Zorya Luhansk through illness.
The England international was expected to feature in the European clash after recovering from a groin problem, but a separate issue will now force the left-back to miss more football.
"Luke Shaw is ill. Temperature, fever, bad throat. He arrived this morning and the doctor sent him home," Mourinho revealed in his pre-match press conference.
Mourinho also revealed that while summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan has returned to training, the Armenian will not take part on Thursday night. However, Anthony Martial has recovered from "contusion".
