Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana will reportedly be drafted into the Reds' starting XI to face Manchester United this weekend, despite busting two of his ribs.
The England international picked up the injury against Leicester City a week ago, and was sidelined for his team's crunch Champions League clash with Basel in midweek.
Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is ready to call on Lallana for the showdown at Old Trafford as he plans to ring the changes following his side's disappointing exit from European football's most prestigious competition.
Rodgers could also draft Mario Balotelli back into his starting lineup after the Italian returned to training following a spell on the sidelines with a groin problem, The Mirror reports.
Liverpool head into the match having scored just 11 goals in their last 12.
