Manchester United are sweating over the fitness of Anthony Martial after the forward suffered an injury in France's 2-0 win over Kazakhstan in World Cup Qualifying on Sunday.
The former Monaco striker led the line from the first whistle and provided the assist for Ousmane Dembele's opener, but he had to come off just before the hour mark with a suspected knee injury.
Martial was seen hobbling off the pitch after trying to play through the pain, and his involvement in France's final game of the month against Bosnia-Herzegovina is now shrouded in uncertainty.
The 25-year-old's Man United teammate Paul Pogba was also taken off after 59 minutes on Sunday, although the midfielder is working his way back from a long-term layoff, and Didier Deschamps affirmed that he would be cautious over his playing time.
Martial had been struggling with a hip problem before the international break as well, but he managed to complete the full 90 minutes in Man United's FA Cup defeat to Leicester City on March 21 before linking up with his compatriots.
The forward has managed seven goals and eight assists from 36 matches this term for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, with four of his strikes coming in the Premier League.
