Manchester United have been handed a boost after Paul Pogba made a return to training on Tuesday.
The France international has been absent for almost three months after sustaining a thigh injury while on international duty.
On January 8, interim manager Ralf Rangnick suggested that the 28-year-old was five weeks away from coming into contention for first-team selection.
As reported by The Mirror, Pogba was present when the squad resumed training after being given a week off due to a winter break.
While Pogba is unlikely to be considered for Friday's FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough, United are scheduled to play five games in the space of 16 days.
Pogba has just five months remaining on his contract at Old Trafford, resulting in frequent speculation regarding his future. body check tags ::
