French midfielder Paul Pogba reportedly stepped up his recovery from a hamstring problem by training with Manchester United's reserve team on Wednesday.
The 24-year-old has missed United's last 12 matches in all competitions after injuring his hamstring during the Champions League clash with Basel at the start of September.
Pogba is said to be hoping to return to action when United take on Newcastle United after the international break, and according to ESPN, the midfielder took part in a training session with some of the club's younger players on Wednesday.
The report claims that Marcos Rojo and Michael Carrick were also present as the pair near comebacks, which would boost Jose Mourinho's squad ahead of the busy festive period.
Pogba scored twice and provided two assists in his first four Premier League appearances of the 2017-18 campaign.
