Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford is hopeful of being fit to face Liverpool on Sunday, after coming off injured during their Champions League tie with Atalanta in midweek.
Rashford has only recently returned from shoulder surgery, which had kept him out of United's start to the 2021-22 campaign.
The 23-year-old returned at Leicester City on Saturday, scoring after coming on as a substitute in the second half of the 4-2 defeat to the Foxes.
Now after starting in the Red Devils' Champions League tie with Atalanta at Old Trafford on Wednesday, and scoring once more in the come-from-behind 3-2 win, the England international was forced off with a dead leg.
Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer revealed after the match that he is hopeful of having Rashford available for Sunday, and the Daily Mail reports that Rashford is also confident of making the game.
Rashford has scored five goals in his last seven appearances against Liverpool across all competitions. body check tags ::
