Manchester United's players were reportedly left shellshocked by Alexis Sanchez's scream after the Chilean forward tore his hamstring in training.
The 29-year-old suffered the injury at the club's Carrington HQ on Thursday and is expected to miss up to two months of action.
Jose Mourinho revealed in Friday's press conference that Sanchez let out a "painful scream" and, according to The Sun, the player's teammates were left distressed.
Sanchez will now miss key Premier League games against Liverpool and former club Arsenal, whom he joined United from in January.
The 124-cap Chile international had previously been tipped to leave Old Trafford in 2019 after struggling to adapt since arriving in the second half of last season.
