Stuart Pearce has reportedly included Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs, Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy and Los Angeles Galaxy playmaker David Beckham in his 35-man preliminary Team GB football squad for the Olympics.
The trio have been touted as possible inclusions for the squad competing in London 2012, with Reds frontman Bellamy letting slip earlier this week that he had been selected.
Reports also emerged claiming that former England and Manchester United star Beckham had been given the green light to become one of three over-age players in the squad.
It is understood that Red Devils veteran Giggs completes the group of players over the age of 23 in the team alongside Bellamy and Beckham, according to Sky Sports News.
Pearce must submit his 35-man squad today but will have until July 6 to name his official 18-man team for the tournament.
