Monday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:
Manchester United 'tracking Brest midfielder Romain Faivre'
Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on Brest midfielder Romain Faivre.
The 22-year-old has been a regular for Olivier Dall'Oglio's free-scoring charges this term and boasts four goals and three assists in the current Ligue 1 campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain are said to be monitoring Faivre's development, but the midfielder has reportedly garnered interest from another European giant owing to his impressive performances.
According to Le 10 Sport, Manchester United have been alerted to Faivre's rise this season and are keeping tabs on the former Monaco youngster.
Faivre is contracted to Les Pirates until 2024 and played the full 90 minutes against PSG on Saturday, but he was unable to prevent his side falling to a 3-0 defeat to the champions.
The midfielder also made his debut for the France Under-21s team last October and struck two goals in qualifying for the European Championships.
Mauricio Pochettino 'makes Paul Pogba top Paris Saint-Germain transfer target'
Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly determined to bring Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to the French champions during this summer's transfer window.
Pogba has played his way back into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first XI in recent weeks, but the 27-year-old is widely expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season.
Juventus and Real Madrid have long been regarded as the favourites for the France international, who has just 18 months left to run on his contract with the Red Devils.
However, according to the Daily Star, PSG are firmly in the race, with Pochettino identifying the World Cup winner as the ideal player to build his team around.
The report claims that United still want in the region of £75m for Pogba despite the midfielder's agent Mino Raiola insisting on a number of occasions that his client wants to move on.
The former Le Havre youngster has scored twice and provided three assists in 21 appearances for the 20-time English champions during the 2020-21 campaign.
