Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Monday, September 28.

The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Manchester United eye possible reinforcements.

The Red Devils brought in Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in the final days of the winter window but are still expected to be active in the summer as they aim to restore their former glories.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Monday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Manchester United 'convinced they will sign Alex Telles'

Manchester United allegedly remain convinced that they will sign Porto defender Alex Telles this summer.

The Premier League giants are favourites to win the race for the attack-minded left-back, who has less than a year remaining on his contract.

While United would have preferred to have already finalised a deal, Porto insist that they want to recoup at least £22.5m for the Brazilian.

Nevertheless, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that United officials are confident of eventually making the breakthrough in negotiations with their counterparts at the Portuguese side.

Telles would likely move ahead of Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams should he make the switch to Old Trafford before the end of the transfer window.

The 27-year-old has started each of Porto's two league matches this season, contributing two goals and one assist.

Manchester United 'will have to pay £109m for Jadon Sancho'

Manchester United will reportedly have to come up with an offer of €120m (£109m) if they are to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils have been strongly linked with the England international over the last few months but have thus far been unable to agree a deal with the Bundesliga giants.

United are still said to be pursuing the former Manchester City youngster despite the fact that the current transfer window will come to a close on October 5.

A recent report claimed that the 20-time English champions were remaining patient as they are hopeful of agreeing a cut-price deal for the attacker over the next week.

However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, it is "€120m or nothing" for the 20-year-old, and BVB have "not received any new bid" from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side.

Sancho was in excellent form for Dortmund last season and has also made a strong start to the current campaign, scoring once and providing two assists in three appearances in all competitions.

Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be admirers of the Englishman and could all bid for him next summer if he remains with Lucien Favre's team.
