Amad Diallo trained with Manchester United's first team on Thursday, fuelling suggestions that he could be involved for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side during the second half of the 2020-21 campaign.
The 18-year-old arrived at the club's training complex on Wednesday, having finally completed a move to the Red Devils, who have paid Atalanta BC an initial £19m for his services.
Diallo made two substitute appearances for Atalanta in the first half of the season, but it is still unclear whether he will be involved with United's Under-23 side or the first team over the coming months.
The teenager trained with Solskjaer's side on Thursday ahead of this weekend's top-of-the-table clash with Liverpool, though, and also took part in a small-sided match at the end of the session.
Diallo, who will wear the number 19 shirt for the 20-time English champions, initially saw a move to the club held up due to passport and work permit issues.
Atalanta had been keen to keep hold of the youngster for the remainder of the season, but Solskjaer wanted him to link up with the squad for the second half of the campaign.
