Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that Cristiano Ronaldo could return against Manchester United on Saturday.
The Portuguese forward has yet to play for Los Blancos in the International Champions Cup friendly tournament.
However, the Italian boss has stated that the current Ballon d'Or holder could make his comeback against his former side in the United States, after shaking off a knee injury.
"Cristiano is working well, alone. He had a double sessions [on Tuesday]," Ancelotti told AS.
"We'll see if he can play the next game against Manchester United. I think his knee problems are over. We have to be careful. He is very calm. The problem is forgotten."
Ronaldo left Old Trafford for the Spanish capital for around £80m in 2009.
