Manchester United forward Anthony Martial has reportedly been involved in a confrontation with a member of the club's youth team.

After failing to make the France World Cup Squad, Martial has remained with Man United as the club prepares for their domestic campaign to resume with an EFL Cup tie against Burnley on December 21.

While training at Carrington, Martial has been involved in a training ground bust-up with Manchester United youngster Dan Gore.

According to talkSPORT, the Frenchman 'lashed out' after being on the receiving end of a robust tackle' from the Under-18 player.

While Martial subsequently apologised for his role in the altercation, Man United boss Erik ten Hag informed Gore that tackling first-team players was off-limits.

Martial has struggled for playing time this season due to injury issues, but in his seven appearances for the club this term, he has registered four goals and two assists. body check tags ::
