Former Manchester United winger Jesper Blomqvist has informed the England squad that Sweden will be going all out to win the friendly encounter between the two nations this evening.
The match has been set up by the Swedish Football Association to open up the country's new national stadium.
With that in mind, Blomqvist believes that his countryman will want to get off to a winning start in their new home.
"The Swedish team will be really keen to make sure they open the stadium with a win," Blomqvist told Manchester United's official website. "I think that motivation will lift the Swedish players and they'll want to be part of making history, making sure they get off to a good start.
"It's a fantastic arena, there will be a great atmosphere and I'm looking forward to it. I think the England players will feel privileged to be involved in the occasion."
Blomqivst, who earned 30 caps for his country, spent three years with United up until 2001.
