Manchester United defender Alexander Buttner has revealed that he feels "completely at home" at the club.
The 25-year-old, who signed for the Red Devils in 2012, has been linked with a move away in recent times.
"Of course I have thought it through," Buttner told Dutch magazine Voetbal International when asked about a potential transfer away from Old Trafford. "Should I stay here any longer and wait for my chance, or maybe go for a transfer?
"The club was always clear, they wouldn't let me go, and in these moments you have to remember what you have. I play at Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world. I feel completely at home, I often have a lot of family with me, and won't give up.
"That approach is now being rewarded, that's nice. My agent has an interview this week at the club on my development and future."
The Dutchman has made 13 appearances for the Premier League side so far this season.
