Jamie Carragher has criticised Liverpool for lacking proper preparation ahead of the club's 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp's side were tipped to dominate the hosts, who entered the game two points above the relegation zone, while Liverpool had won all of their last 17 Premier League games.
However, a muted performance from the visitors saw them rely on substitute Adam Lallana scoring an equaliser in the 85th minute to spare Liverpool from their first defeat of the domestic campaign.
Reflecting on the result, Carragher told Sky Sports News: "Liverpool were not ready in the first half for a derby game, for the intensity of this game."
Klopp remains without a win at Old Trafford, while Liverpool's last victory at the Theatre of Dreams was a 3-0 victory in 2014.
Liverpool, who remain six points clear at the top of the table, meet Genk in the Champions League this week ahead of resuming Premier League action against Tottenham Hotspur.
