Manchester United defender Daley Blind believes that his team will be ready to hit the ground running next month after coming through a testing pre-season schedule.
The 20-time English champions have already played four times since arriving in the United States earlier this month, and have another International Champions Cup fixture against Barcelona on Wednesday night before returning to Europe.
Blind was one of two Man United players to score during Sunday night's penalty-shootout victory over Real Madrid at the Levi's Stadium, and the Netherlands international has commented on a successful pre-season to date.
"I think it's good. We have trained a lot, the facilities were good, some good matches that will prepare us for the season. Barcelona is also a big game, we want to get results and start the season well," Blind told MUTV.
Man United have now beaten Los Angeles Galaxy, Real Salt Lake, Manchester City and Real Madrid during pre-season.
