Memphis Depay has admitted that he wants to be as successful as Cristiano Ronaldo when he begins his Manchester United career this summer.
The Netherlands international, who agreed a move to Old Trafford last week, scored in his penultimate game for PSV on Sunday.
The 21-year-old is hopeful that he can emulate Ballon d'Or winner Ronaldo, who was nurtured at United for six years before joining Real Madrid in 2009.
"I hope I can one day be like the big guys in the world," the Daily Mail quotes Depay as saying. "Ronaldo is someone I watch, I watch all the big players. I look up to them and I can learn from them.
"I am down to earth and I hope I can reach that level. I'll fight for it and I will do my best in every training session to get better."
The deal to sign Depay is reportedly costing United in the region of £25m.
