Former Netherlands captain Ruud Krol has claimed that compatriot Robin van Persie is "not settled" at Manchester United this season.
Van Persie, 30, who is reportedly unhappy at Old Trafford, made clear his frustration following the Olympiacos game in midweek, describing the Red Devils' performance as being "lousy".
"I watched him play against Olympiacos the other night in the Champions League and he failed to put away a chance that he would normally score blindfolded," Krol, who represented his country 83 times, is quoted as saying by Goal.com.
"Then his reaction later spoke volumes. He is not settled – actually the whole team is lacking self-belief. Nobody doubts the player's qualities or what he can do with the ball.
"Such crisis moments occur once in a while but Van Persie will definitely come good. Holland needs him for the World Cup."
Van Persie has scored 11 goals for United in the Premier League so far this campaign.
