Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko has claimed that Manchester United are still favourites for the Premier League title, despite being five points behind their local rivals.
City opened up the gap at the top of the table with last week's 6-1 win at Old Trafford.
Dzeko, who scored two goals in that match, believes that United's history shows that they can't be ruled out.
"I still don't think we are favourites," The Guardian quotes Dzeko as saying.
"There are still a lot of games to play. We have played 10 matches and are five points clear of Manchester United but for me they are still favourites for the title. We are first and want to stay there but United are United, although we are growing up with every game."
City continue their Champions League campaign on Wednesday when they travel to Villarreal.
