Ajax manager Erik ten Hag is reportedly not interested in becoming Manchester United's new head coach in the middle of the 2021-22 campaign.
The 51-year-old is believed to have been identified as a leading candidate to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford, should the Norwegian lose his job in the near future.
However, according to The Independent, Ten Hag has made it clear to the 20-time English champions that he would not be prepared to discuss a possible move until the end of the season.
The report claims that the Dutchman would not want to leave Ajax in a difficult position, but his contract at the club is due to expire in June 2023, meaning that his future is far from secure.
Ten Hag has won two Eredivisie titles and two KNVB Cups during his time at Ajax, taking charge of 184 matches for the club since arriving in December 2017.
This season, De Godenzonen are currently top of the Eredivisie, while they have booked their spot in the knockout round of the Champions League with two matches to spare.
Solskjaer is expected to remain in charge for the Premier League clash with Watford on November 20 despite the widespread speculation surrounding his future. body check tags ::
