Patrice Evra has insisted that an increase in belief is behind his goalscoring contribution for Manchester United this season.
The French defender has found the net three times so far - more than he has managed in any other campaign since joining the Red Devils in the winter of 2006.
Speaking after his latest goal during today's 1-1 draw at Swansea City, Evra conceded that his strikes have a lot to do with the service that he has been receiving from his teammates.
"It's not an accident," he told MUTV. "I've started to believe that I can score. That's why whenever we get a corner kick I try to put myself in the right place.
"It's always a good delivery too. Wayne Rooney has set up two of my goals, and today it was Van Persie."
Evra has scored a total of six goals from United.
