Rio Ferdinand has dismissed reports that he would not be fit for Manchester United's trip to Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.
The centre-back has struggled with back and hamstring problems this season and stories this morning had claimed that the complaint had flared up once again.
However, 33-year-old Ferdinand has confirmed that he will part of the playing squad that travels to the Emirates Stadium.
"Just dispelling the rumours that I'm a doubt for sunday! Trained with the team as normal since the game saturday! Coaches ran us hard 2day!," he wrote on Twitter.
Ferdinand has made 13 league appearances for the Red Devils this season.
