Manchester United's Rio Ferdinand has insisted that he is not worried about how bitter rivals Manchester City perform as the title race comes to a head.
The England centre-back told Sky Sports News that he believes his side will claim the Premier League crown, as winning games is in their hands.
"That's the way you've got to be and the team that does that best between now and the end of the season will be the one to win the league," he said.
United hold a three-point advantage over their city rivals after Monday night's 1-0 victory over Fulham.
"If it's 0-0 after 88 minutes we know we're going to create chances in the dying moments to win games and it's important to keep that in mind," Ferdinand added. "We don't care what happens with [City], it's about us.
"If we remain calm and win all our games we'll be successful."
Both United and City have eight games remaining in the title run-in.
