Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly unhappy with England manager Roy Hodgson for not including defender Phil Jones in his senior squad.
The Three Lions boss decided against drafting the 20-year-old into his 24-man squad for a friendly against Brazil next week at Wembley, and instead was placed in Stuart Pearce's Under-21 team.
Ferguson is believed to be fuming at Jones's dismissal from the senior squad considering that he has started in United's last four matches, according to the Daily Star.
Jones is expected to line up in the Under-21 team for a friendly fixture against Sweden at Walsall next Tuesday.
