Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that his team selection for this evening's derby was influenced by opponents Manchester City.
Ferguson has gone for a five-man midfield at the Etihad Stadium which includes veterans Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
However, the Scottish boss has insisted that his side will still try to take maximum points from the encounter.
"The way that City operate they cluster up the midfield so I thought we would reinforce it," Ferguson told Sky Sports News.
"We're going out to win the game, there's no question about that. I've never in my life gone for a draw and I'm not going to change now."
United hold a three-point advantage over their neighbours at the top of the Premier League table.
