Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea reveals that Sir Alex Ferguson has challenged his players to win all of their remaining fixtures.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has told his players that they need to win all of their remaining games in order to clinch a 20th league title, according to goalkeeper David De Gea.

United leapfrogged rivals Manchester City last weekend with their 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion, but crashed out of the Europa League with a 2-1 loss to Athletic Bilbao, meaning that the league is their only chance of a trophy this season.

The title is now in United's hands, but De Gea revealed that Ferguson is keen to avoid any slip-ups.

"Mr Ferguson has insisted just one point could be decisive and we want to keep our destiny in our own hands. Success is down to us and we cannot fail," he told the Sun on Sunday.

"We have spoken in the dressing room and the numbers are clear. We want to win all our matches and try to make sure we clinch the title before the last day.

"It is now our duty to maintain our lead in the Premier League until the end. Winning the title will help us forget the bitter taste of defeat in the other competitions so, from this weekend onwards, I want the fans to see the very best version of United."

United currently sit one point ahead of City, a gap they could stretch to four with a win against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Sunday.
