Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly open to offloading defender Nemanja Vidic to Real Madrid at the end of the season.
The Spanish giants are believed to be interested in the former Serbia international, with manager Jose Mourinho keen to force through the move, according to the Daily Mail.
While cashing in on the centre-back is not the ideal situation for the Premier League manager, it is thought that the 69-year-old would consider selling if the price was right.
It is understood that the Red Devils would set a price tag that would enable Ferguson to bring in a replacement defender to Old Trafford.
