Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has said that the team have been "much more aggressive" in their approach since Erik ten Hag's arrival as head coach.
The Red Devils made it three wins from their three pre-season games this summer with a 3-1 victory over fellow Premier League outfit Crystal Palace on Tuesday.
Man United have now beaten Liverpool, Melbourne Victory and Palace in their three friendlies during their tour of Thailand and Australia, finding the back of the net on 11 occasions.
Anthony Martial has scored three times in three matches, while Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford have struck twice each, with the attack flowing in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Fernandes has said that the team are "feeling good" due to their strong displays this summer, and the Portugal international has detailed the change in approach under Ten Hag.
"We are obviously feeling good, the result will help with that and we are playing good football," Fernandes told MUTV. "There are a lot of things to improve on yet, but we have time to do that and be ready for the first [Premier League] game of the season.
"We have been much more aggressive now and the three guys up front have been much more aggressive in the way they press and they are strong too.
"They make the last line squeeze and it makes the midfielders come a little bit higher, it makes it so, when we recover the ball, we are being closer to the ball too.
"We are much fresher to do that, and we have freedom when we recover the ball, because we get to teams and, when they recover, they are really wide. There is loads of space in the middle and, as you said, we are much better on the ball too."
Fernandes has also addressed the need for Man United's forwards to hit the back of the net on a regular basis next term if the team are to be successful.
"We all know that everyone wants to score goals, but the main ones have to be the strikers. They know that they have to be there to score goals and they are doing really well. We have to keep supporting them in making them happy because we know that they lead from the goals," he added.
Man United will round off their summer tour with a clash against Aston Villa on Saturday before taking on Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano in two friendlies at the end of the month.
The 20-time English champions will then begin their 2022-23 Premier League campaign at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on August 7, with Ten Hag bidding to make the perfect start to his time at the helm.
Fernandes signed a new long-term deal with Man United in April and is expected to be an important player for the club's new manager next term.
The 27-year-old's form was criticised during spells of last season, but another productive campaign in terms of numbers saw him manage 10 goals and 14 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions. body check tags ::
