Manchester United legend Gary Neville has responded to Loris Karius's 'failed manager' comments and dragged Liverpool great Jamie Carragher into the war of words.
The spat began when Neville criticised the Reds' first-choice stopper for his display at Bournemouth last weekend, which Karius said he would take little notice of following the Englishman's failed stint in charge of Valencia.
Neville has now taken to Instagram to again hit back at the former Mainz keeper, however, quoting Carragher - who Karius said he would acknowledge criticism from - in which the Sky Sports pundit also took a swipe at his inability to keep the ball out of the net.
"My sincere apologies Karius. You're right. A failed manager hasn't a clue. I won't copy your great fan, pundit and club legend again," Neville said, accompanying the message with a screenshot of previous quotes from Carragher.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has urged Karius to ignore the criticism for his recent displays, as the Reds prepare for Sunday's visit of West Ham United.
