Ryan Giggs has insisted that he is relishing the challenge of being Manchester United assistant manager.
The 40-year-old Welshman called an end to his distinguished playing career over the summer before becoming part of Louis van Gaal's coaching staff at Old Trafford.
Despite United struggling for consistency during the early stages of the season, Giggs admits that he is enjoying his new role on the touchline.
"It is a challenge. There's a lot more preparation during the week, and making sure that you cover everything and do everything you can for the players to be prepared for the game coming up at the weekend," he told the Premier League's official website. "I'm learning every day but I'm learning under a great manager so I am enjoying it."
United continue their league campaign tonight when they face West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns.
