Ryan Giggs vows that Manchester United will put in a performance worthy of champions at the Etihad Stadium.

Ryan Giggs has said that Manchester United are looking to show people why they deserve to be champions at the Etihad Stadium tonight.

The Welshman believes that the experience within the Red Devils' squad will be a huge factor in the outcome of the potential title decider against Manchester City.

Giggs said that United have been in these types of games before and they have players who are used to big occasions.

"City will be looking at it and fancying themselves to win because they're a good team and they're at home," said Giggs. "But we're Manchester United, we're the champions and we'll try and put a statement out that we deserve to win this league.

"We have experience when it comes to winning titles, but City have got experienced players who have maybe won titles with other clubs. We need to make sure we use the experience we've got and make sure it works for us.

"It's a big game but as United players we're definitely used to it."

Giggs is bidding for his 13th Premier League title.
