Ryan Giggs will reportedly consider leaving Manchester United if Jose Mourinho is appointed as the club's new manager in the summer.
The most decorated player in the club's history has been assistant coach at Old Trafford for the past three years - first for David Moyes and now for Louis van Gaal.
It has been rumoured that the Welshman could be promoted should Van Gaal get sacked at the end of the season, but former Chelsea boss Mourinho has been the main contender.
Since the Portuguese coach's sacking at Stamford Bridge in December, the 53-year-old has been regularly linked to United, who have been under scrutiny during a lacklustre season.
Now, it has been widely reported that Mourinho is confident of being appointed as Van Gaal's successor in the summer, despite not yet being offered a contract from the English giants.
According to the Manchester Evening News, Mourinho's potential arrival could result in Giggs leaving the club after 28 years.
The ex-Real Madrid boss is likely to bring in his own backroom staff.
