Ryan Giggs is reportedly urging Manchester Untied manager Louis van Gaal to play their youth players in the final two games of the Premier League season.
Assistant manager Giggs, along with academy chief Nicky Butt, is hoping that Van Gaal will feature players from the youth squad once United's Champions League qualification be confirmed.
This could be secured as early as this afternoon, with Liverpool needing to avoid a loss against Chelsea to maintain their slim hopes of overhauling United.
Having already signed Memphis Depay from PSV, the Daily Mail reports that Giggs wants Van Gaal to look at the emerging talent at Old Trafford before opening the chequebook once more.
Potential youngsters include such players as James Wilson, Andreas Pereira, Josh Harrop, Joe Rothwell and Andy Kellett.
